EmotivEPOC brain to MIDI

EmotivEPOC is an helmet created by Emotiv, the helmet uses a set of sensors and a gyroscope to capture the cerebral waves of human brain and translates it in MIDI signal. With its wireless connection it can communicate with your computer allowing you interaction with the machine.

This is not the only one interface who exploits cerebral waves. The NIA by OCZ is another peripheral which allows you a new kind of interactivity with the machines.
LeCollagiste will make a test for the end of August using this peripheral with a VJing Software.
If this technology is now available for the masses, i’m really scared to think about which kind of neural-technology can be owned by worldwide military forces.
