Hello everybody,
I'm sorry for the delay of this (news)letter, but I just moved in Scotland, Edinburgh, therefore I was busy, settling down and so on. Nevertheless interesting collaborations came out in these two months. A piece of mine has been included in the last .microsound compilation curated by the american composer Kim Cascone for a monthly issue of Vague Terrain, online new media art journal.
At the same time I became a regular blog contributor for the journal, my aim is to illustrate and eventually discuss works, events, happenings and practices focused on the use of Open/Libre hardware/software/philosophy. Check vagueterrain.net...

We are finally seeing some rays of light into the darkness of italian educational system. It seems private and public academy is becoming interested in FLOSS practices, therefore I've been teaching a couple of different courses in Brescia and Milano, besides I'm delight to announce I will hold a MA in sound design for sensitive environment using FLOSS at the Brescia Academy of Fine Arts - LABA. More infos will follow soon on my blog.

The release of the short film I said about in my last letter has been delayed due to some other works coming in. At the moment we - me and my partner Ioann Maria - are building the first prototypes for an installation project using biofeedback processes to create a subversive, viral reactive environment. Keep an eye on the blog for some further announcement about the development of the project.

Last but not least, i would like to highlight the next event I'm taking part in Milan. Since yesterday for 4 days is taking place AHAcktitude, the international meeting of the participants and contributors of the AHA mailing list..
"AHA:Activism-Hacking-Artivism is an artistic networking project founded in 2001 by Tatiana Bazzichelli aka T_Bazz. AHA is a networking initiative activated by contamination/integration of multiple media and events, where the common denominator is hacktivism and artistic and political activism. Activism-Hacking-Artivism focuses on artists and hacktivists in Italy and abroad that use media in an independent way, through the organisation of exhibitions, events, and collective meetings organised by T_Bazz along with other curators that change accordingly."
I'll be there supporting the event holding a workshop about open tools for digital creation together with Husk and I'll be performing on friday night along with T_Bazz, Otolab, MSST.

that's all by now...
thanks for reading my words and above all for your support!

all the best
